Privacy policy
Effective October 25, 2026
Asante Anderson ("I," "me") is an individual in Columbus, Ohio who sets up and operates virtual phone assistants for businesses. This policy explains what information I handle, why, and what choices you have. It covers this website, calls answered by a phone assistant I operate for a business, and text messages I send.
Information I collect
When you call a business that uses my phone assistant, the assistant collects what's needed to help you:
- Your phone number (caller ID)
- Your name and service address
- A description of your problem and your appointment preferences
- A recording and transcript of the call
From businesses I work with, I collect contact details for owners and on-call staff (names, phone numbers, email addresses), along with business hours, fees, and scheduling information.
On this website, I don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Call recording
Calls answered by the phone assistant may be recorded. The greeting tells callers this at the start of each call.
How I use information
- To answer calls and book appointments for the business you called
- To send call summaries and urgent alerts to that business and its on-call staff
- To find and fix errors and improve the service for that business
- To comply with the law
Who I share it with
I do not sell personal information. I share it only:
- With the business you called. That business owns the information about its callers.
- With service providers that run the voice, telephone, messaging, and automation systems behind the assistant, only as needed to deliver the service
- When required by law
Text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long I keep it
I keep call information while the business uses my service. When a business stops using the service, I delete its call information within 30 days unless the business asks for a copy first or the law requires me to keep it longer.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls on the systems that store it. No system is perfectly secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Callers can ask to see or delete information about their call by contacting the business they called or by emailing me. I'll work with that business to handle the request.
- Text recipients can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. See the SMS terms.
Children
This service is meant for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
